Nine weeks in Silver Bay, New York, on the shores of Lake George. Students live and work at Silver Bay YMCA while growing in faith, community, leadership, and mission.
What is Adirondack Leadership Training?
Adirondack Leadership Training (Adirondack LT) is a 9-week summer discipleship and work program for college students at Silver Bay YMCA on Lake George, in Silver Bay, New York. The Collegiate Church Network runs it and Reliant Mission administers it. The 2026 summer runs June 12 – August 15, 2026, and applications close May 14. Every participant is employed and housed in dorms by Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks, which pays at least New York minimum wage, guarantees at least 32 hours of work a week and takes food and housing out of each paycheck. Around their shifts, students meet for Bible study, teaching, worship and outreach led by staff from Collegiate churches. The program fee is $895 for first-time students and $595 for returners before February 1, 2026, rising to $995 and $695 for late registration. Students apply through the Collegiate LT assessment with Reliant and must also be hired by the YMCA.

The place
Life on Lake George
Students spend the summer near Lake George and the Adirondack region, with access to hiking, water, local towns, and unique opportunities to practice hospitality and outreach.
Housing
Housing is supplied by the YMCA partner site and is generally shared, dorm-style housing.
Transportation
Participants are responsible for arranging transportation to and from LT. A car can be helpful but is not required for every student.
