Summer 2027 · Short-term trips

Go further this summer.

Three short-term trips any Collegiate church can send students on, especially churches without an overseas partnership of their own. Pick the one that fits where you are.

01 · Costa Rica

San José

Partner with a Great Commission Latin America (GCLA) sister church in San José, serving refugee kids and college students.

Dates
3rd week of May to 1st week of June
Cost
About $2,500
For
Students new to cross-cultural ministry with a heart for kids or college students
Mission
Serve refugee children and reach college students alongside a local church
San José, Costa Rica, spread across the valley under a glowing orange sky

This is a gospel-centric, service-oriented trip. You'll work at the church's development center (CDI), which serves refugee children from a low-income neighborhood by helping them succeed in school, grow spiritually and have a safe, loving place to be.

You'll also help with the college ministry, H@ngout, connecting with students and engaging in spiritual conversations that we hope lead to gospel opportunities. Many of these students have been hurt by the church, and H@ngout offers steps toward healing through tasting Christ's love.

02 · Sweden

Uppsala

Get your feet wet overseas among the 50,000 university students of Sweden's fourth-largest city.

Dates
May 18–28
Cost
About $2,500
For
Anyone, whether you've traveled overseas before or never have
Mission
Evangelism and discipleship among college students
Uppsala Cathedral rising above the Fyris river in Uppsala, Sweden

Uppsala is home to about 50,000 university students. With visas being denied in recent years, there's a huge need for workers to come and support what God is doing. Twenty-somethings here are spiritually hungry and willing to talk.

If you've never traveled overseas, this is a great place to start. Training in lifestyle evangelism and discipleship will send you home more confident as a disciple-maker on your own campus.

03 · Europe

EuroLINC

A three-week summer project for university students ready to take their journey to another level.

Dates
July 16 – August 6
Cost
$900 + airfare
For
University students who already have some mission trip experience
Mission
Disciple-making among university students and immigrant neighborhoods
People walking down a cobbled old-town street in Europe

EuroLINC trains believers to become more confident and competent disciple-makers, with the challenge to live out kingdom values wherever God leads. The location is chosen to help something that's just getting started gain the workers and intentionality it needs to grow.

Outreach combines university students and immigrant neighborhoods. It's an opportunity to reach the world.
